Scott has obtained a Master of Laws with Honours from the University of Auckland carrying out research and analysis of various legal issues, as well as making recommendations for future law reform.
Scott is a courageous advocate who fights for fairness and equality. Scott joined the firm in 2014 as a criminal law specialist and has since practiced in both criminal and regulatory prosecution work including Teachers Tribunal prosecutions, Health and Safety prosecutions and prosecutions brought by the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board. He is able to use his litigation experience to maximise his client’s results in all areas of litigation and dispute resolution. Scott is also a panel member of the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Legal Provider Services Selection Committee and has often been appointed as an amicus curiae by the Court. He has also been appointed as a Youth Advocate representing vulnerable members of our society.
Scott carries out work in all areas of serious criminal law and traffic law.
