Her practice focuses on advising clients on relationship property matters, care of children and family violence proceedings. Mia strives through her legal practice to ensure a better outcome for her clients.
Mia’s psychology background enables a balanced and insightful approach to her client’s issues, and with a young family herself, she can understand the kind of issues that families encounter. Mia has an innate ability to listen to a client’s story and narrow it down to identify the legal issues and present their case in a clear and succinct way.
Mia undertakes work for private clients, clients who wish to apply for legal aid and clients under FLAS (Family Legal Advice Service). She is also appointed by the Court to represent patients who are in need of legal assistance in proceedings under the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) Act 1992.
