Lisa is particularly interested in family and criminal law. This interest was ignited early on as a student while working as a clerk at the Tauranga District Court. She saw first-hand how the justice system operates and has since been determined to work in these areas.
While studying, Lisa spent over two years law clerking for the Public Defence Service, during which she worked on files ranging from PAL 1 to PAL 4 and assisted behind the scenes in high level criminal trials. Lisa has a deep understanding of criminal law and the ability to analyse issues and develop practical solutions that get the best outcomes for her clients.
