John Wayne commenced practice in 2008 with a specialist litigation firm in Wellington. He trained in the areas of criminal, family, and civil law. John Wayne’s primary areas of practice are now in criminal law and complex family law matters such as relationship property, Hague Convention in the Civil Aspects of Child Abduction, and estate litigation.
He regularly appears in the District Court, Family Court and High Court, and has experience in appellate work in the Court of Appeal.
John Wayne also acts for children in the Family Court, being an approved lawyer for the child.
