Me mahi tahi tatou mo te oranga o te katoa – we should work together for the wellbeing of everyone.
Chelsea graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor’s degree in Law in 2018. Chelsea has a particular interest in all matters related to family law. She is passionate about the welfare of children and the maintenance of relationships. As a new lawyer she aims to give a fresh perspective to the matters she deals with and through her endeavours hopes to make an impact on the wider community also. She has a good appreciation and understanding of the seriousness and sensitivity that family matters entail and brings an empathetic approach to her work. Her main goal is to help people come to a resolution quickly and avoid the need for litigation, if that is possible. However, if the matter must proceed to court then she is well equipped for the task.
Chelsea is the eldest of three and grew up in Rarotonga. She whakapapa’s to Ngati Pikiao and hopes to re-connect to the community through her career here in Rotorua. Her upbringing and culture has given her the ability to understand a wide range of people which will help in easing clients through the legal process.
